- Computers use the PEAP protocol for 802.1X configurations when you want users to authenticate using a username and password. To use this protocol, you must distribute a configuration profile to computers with the Certificates and Network payloads configured. Log in to Jamf Pro. Click Computers at the top of the page. Click Configuration Profiles.
